Thank you for being here! I would like to share a bit about my career path in dedication to all my teachers who have fostered my work in being a lifelong learner in the healing arts.

I became interested in massage therapy after the birth of my first-born daughter in 1985. Finding books at the library on baby massage opened up the doors to the alternative medicine world.

By 1988, I was giving Reiki treatments to family and friends after taking a Reiki course in Green Bay, WI. At that time, massage therapy was not a licensed profession, nor were there any massage schools close for me to attend. I decided to piece-meal my training by taking an anatomy and physiology course through a nearby technical college, while attending hands-on-healing workshops on weekends in Madison, WI, with Dr. Ron Wagner, a chiropractor. For the next couple of years, I learned Touch for Health, a modality that incorporated muscle testing and acupressure points, along with massage therapy techniques. What began as an important part of my parenting, eventually spread throughout my Oneida community, and people began to “show up” to receive treatments.

By 1996, I had moved to a beautiful place in the most northwestern part of Washington state. Massage therapy was a licensed profession by then and I could have been grandfathered in with all of my training. However, I decided to attend massage school to make licensing easier. I opened up Mountain Spirit Massage therapy office in Bellingham, WA in 1998, where I practiced for 10 years.

In Washington state, I took many continuing education credits. Some of those include Touch for Health with Wayne Topping, PhD., Deep Tissue work with Gary Sweitzer, LMT, Foot Reflexology w Lisa Hensell, LMT, and Jin Shin Do Acupressure with Cheryl Hockett, LMT.

In 2008, I returned home to Green Bay, WI, and have been sporadically and part-time-ish sharing massage therapy. In November 2021, I decided to open up an office again.

With over 10,000 hours of massage therapy sessions under my belt, my work has evolved into flowing bodywork sessions tailored to each individual.
